HIGH SHOOL PROGRAM

FILE runs an Intercultural Exchange program for students in High schools or those who have just graduated from a high school.

Under this program Students between the ages of 16-19 years of age will be enrolled in a Senior High School in Ghana for ten (10) months (August to June the following year) and will live with a host family whilst attending a local high school.

The essence of the high school program is to equip participants with skills and competencies and to enable them develop a better global outlook through the experience of international education and also develop long lasting ties and friendship with their host families in Ghana.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in other voluntary activities like Orphanage and Foster Home program and Sports programs.

As part of the program the participants will also embark on a study tour to places of historical and cultural interest.

Students will be exposed to extra curricular activities (enrichment programs) like language and drumming lesson.
